Sony has a number of 50mm lens offerings for full frame E mount cameras: the 50mm f1.8, 50mm f1.4, the company's 50mm f2.8 Macro. Posited as the company's budget macro lens offering, it's designed to be affordable. That means that you're not going to get the best of anything from a lens like this, but it still is rather usable.
