For as much as we all like to talk about the film renaissance that is currently going on in the world, the sad truth is that the benefits of this resurgence of interest in film have not translated over to the film companies – at least not in a big enough way to (with a few exceptions) prevent these beloved and popular film stocks from being discontinued.
