Every photographer at one point in their life should own at least one Leica M mount camera. That doesn't mean that it necessarily needs to be made by Leica though--Voigtlander and Zeiss offered very great options that you can get in great condition. While some may scoff at the prices, it goes without saying that many M mount cameras are built very well and are essentially timepieces. But if you're going to get one, don't just get it based on price. You'll need to look at what the viewfinders can offer and a few other options.
