The Olympus 17mm f1.2 and 45mm f1.2 PRO Finally Go Official

It's about time--Olympus is today announcing their brand new 17mm f1.2 PRO and Olympus 45mm f1.2 PRO lenses for the Micro Four Thirds system. These lenses join the 25mm f1.2 PRO lens as the fastest aperture Olympus lenses on the market. With their f1.2 aperture, they'll have quite a bit of light gathering abilities but they'll also have the full frame depth of field equivalence of f2.4. For something like portraiture, that's honestly fine as it means that you'll more or less never need to stop the lens down.
